“We are always the same age inside.”
—Gertrude Stein (1874–1946)

Walk About New York turns one on April 1st, today!
Walk About New York turns one-year old today. We will always be a kid at heart, exploring and discovering the Big Apple to serve our guests better. Thank you to everyone who has taken a tour; we look forward to welcoming you on a future one. Our gift to you is a new tour: the Gay Village Walking Tour.
Walk About New York’s Gay Village Walking Tour will take you to the houses, places of business, bars, and art installations where gay men and lesbians have lived, loved, partied and worked over the past 130 years in Greenwich Village, New York’s most storied neighborhood. Many of those stories were written the men and women of the gay community.

From a closeted multimillionaire to a First Lady’s circle of friends to well-known and lesser-known artists, poets, photographers and musicians to New York City elected officials and political activists, the Gay Village Walking Tour includes a cast of characters that is sure to amuse, surprise and inform you, whether you are gay or straight or none of the above!
Eager to see you, your friends and family on the Gay Village Walking Tour soon! Check out the tour schedule and book your tour.
