Although the topic, relating to HIV/AIDS, may be a difficult one for some, and certainly the language can be harsh, the rewards for watching “Dallas Buyer’s Club,” a low-budget, independent motion picture, are great.

Mr. McConaughey’s co-star, Jared Letto won an Oscar for his supporting role as Rayon in this 2013 movie.
